MS3 mangles formatting of MS2 scores, whether reset or not

I know it is possible for me to continue using MS2 for my MS2 scores, but I have some scores that are long-term projects and I would like to be able to take advantage of the new functions in MS3. When I open a MS2 score in MS3 the formatting is all over the place- suddenly each new section has 2 treble clefs instead of 1, spacing is sometimes maintained and sometimes changed, graphics that were carefully placed in the score are now haphazardly strewn across it, some symbols are just altogether gone, system texts are appearing on wrong pages. I have tried both options: resetting elements and not; it does change where some things are placed but it does not change that they are moved from how the score used to look. Is this just inevitable with new software? Or is it not yet working the way it is supposed to? I do, otherwise, like the new program! Thanks!

Some changes are to be expected when dealing with layout improvements as significant as those in MuseScore 3, but you shouldn't be seeing double clefs etc. There were bugs in beta versions that could do that, also a few other specific corner cases where this can happen, but in general, most scores should be fine. If you would like us to investigate, we would need you to attach a score you are having trouble with. Then we could also look at other problems. My best guess is that you were relying on large manual adjustments to place symbols in one measure but then dragging them to appear above/below another, and that'/s always dangerous, even without changing versions, as it won't work if anything about the layout changes.
