Dynamics text - incorrect font applied when editing
Two issues here...
i) Dynamics marking text (p, mp, mf, etc.) is set in font "MS Shell Dlg 2" despite the text style for dynamics being set to FreeSerif. This means whenever ordinary text is added to dynamics text (e.g. "pp subito", "sempre f", etc.) the font of the dynamics marking first has to be changed to FreeSerif manually. See the first three notes of the attached score for examples.
ii) Once dynamics marking text has been changed to FreeSerif, double-clicking to the left of the text occasionally selects the first (alphabetically) font installed on the system in the font drop-down list at the foot of the screen, rather than FreeSerif. This happens intermittently - on other occasions FreeSerif is selected. This is intermittent and I can't reproduce the issue consistently. See the note at bar 3 of the attached score for an example, and the image below ("Agency FB" is alphabetically the first font installed on my system).
Issue ii) is a specific example of a more general issue with all types of text, i.e. that double-clicking to the immediate left of the first character of a text element (of any type) occasionally sets the font drop-down list to the first (alphabetically) font installed on the system. See the second note of bar 4 in the attached file for an example using swing text.
