Keyboard notation wrong IMHO
It starts at C1 but should be C0. Same for the piano roll editor.
BTW I found this once and cannot for the life of me remember how I did that. I cant find a link to open it again

An 88-key piano goes from A0 to C8. C0 is the C below A0 so C1 is correct for the piano.

I stand corrected but you miss my point, C3 on the keyboard plays C2

See my response to the other thread you started. There are different standards for the numbering, apparently your preference is for the less common one we elected not to use in favor of the more common one we do use.

Which type of keyboard? On MuseScore's piano keyboard C3 is C3.

does this board have something like a sticky - cos this ought to be one item. there's probably many more tips like this
I own up to being stupid boy Pike - I had been labouring under the misapprehension that C3 was middle C It is of course C4 where i got this notion is a mystery - apologies for the fuss -- reset brain

You likely read this in a source that said C3 is middle C. There are a variety of names for the notes. MuseScore uses what seems to be the most common.
