MuseScore 3 says it's damaged
I've attempted to download MuseScore 3.0.5 from here, but when I attempt to open following the download, my computer verifies it for a minute, then says that the disk is damaged. Is there a way around this? And just for clarification, I have a MacBook Air.

Does your computer say that the disk is damaged or does MuseScore launch and then say tha the disk is damaged? What is the exact sequence of events and what is the actual error message?

I launch MuseScore, my computer does a final verification, and then it says it's damaged.
Same thing happens everytime I try to open the new updated version of 3 on my mac. The old version worked but it is gone now. I still can use v 2 but anything that I created in 3 will not work with 2. Please fix whatever you did in the last update. (Update) I just downloaded it again and replaced the old 3 and now it stays open and I don't get an error message.
