Lowering the copyright line
Is there a way to manually lower the copyright line without affecting the placement or margins of the score? The issue that I am encountering is when I try to condense the page the bottom bass clef notes are clashing with the copyright line. My workaround is when in page view I select a note or rest in the bottom of the score, Ctrl T, and paste the copyright line, disable auto placement and manually drag it below the existing margins.

Try adding text to the title frame (or elsewhere), by Inspector set as footer and then adjust the position (even by dragging)
Best solution I think is to go to Format / Style / Text Style / Footer and set a vertical offset. That will push it into the margin. There is a pending change to do this automatically.
