To set this up, select each 2 note slur and add a decrescendo, then select the entire measure and add a crescendo.
This is the actual measure 91 from the second movement of Dvorak's Cello Concerto in B minor.

True, same as 3.0.5. There are a few other cases of this sort of thing, I believe. Could be due to the code trying to align the hairpins.
