adding extra staves
How do I add an extra stave? I'm preparing a work sheet and want to add staves in between a body of text. Also, the new staves will be different from the first one in that I want to show an example of unmetred liturgical music with a written explanation. How do I do it? I cannot find anything relating to this topic in the handbook.

In what way does it fail? Please describe clearer what you want to achieve and show how far you got, like with a sample score
Without seeing your score it is difficult to understand exactly what you mean, but to add a staff to your score - like for another instrument playing at the same time as the instrument(s) you already have - go to Edit / Instruments. If maybe you just mean you want another line of music between two measures you already have, you just need to insert the measures themselves (see Add / Measures).
