I Can't Put Lyrics On The Staff Lines
I want to use Lyrics (CTRL + L) for presenting Chord Degrees. I want to place them on the staff. I create a staff which have 2 lines of which distance between them are 4sp.
Adjusting the settings below does not help putting Lyrics into boxes.
1) Format - Style - Lyrics - Position Above - Y
2) Format - Style - Lyrics - Position Below - Y
3) Format - Style - Text Styles - Lyrics Even Lines - Y
4) Format - Style - Text Styles - Lyrics Odd Lines - Y
Here is the regarded file attached.

Add lyrics, select them, open Inspector (see the attached image)
Lyrics play by different rules as far as alignment goes since there is also code to force them to be aligned across a system. So if you want something placed on the staff by default, best not to use lyrics for this. On the other hand, it's also trivially simple to move all the lyrics onto the staff when you're done, just select them all then adjust the offset in the Inspector. Staff or expression text probably makes a better choice. Then you can use the minimum distance setting (easiest way to set - put one element on the staff manually, then hit "set as style" next to offset and min distance in Inspector) to make sure future elements default that way.

It does if you follow the instructions I gave: 1) move one onto the staff manually 2) hit the "set as style" button for both offset and minimum distance in the Inspector.
