Plug in for proof reading
Nice to have the plug in to identify parallel fifths and octaves.
But how to return the score to black notes after correcting the red ones?
Thanks for any help

Some plugins that color notes, uncolor on 2nd run.
If this does not, maybe be need to port https://musescore.org/en/project/remove-notes-color to 3.x
Try the attached (also in https://github.com/lasconic/blacknotes/pull/12)
Edit: merged and available via https://musescore.org/en/project/remove-notes-color
Ctrl + Z
My "Color notes diatonic" plugins have button to remove color from notes too, but in fact You dont need any plugin to do it.
You can do it directly in inspector. Select notes (or entire score) and click set color in inspector.
