Arpeggio mark causes weird staff spacing
I've created arpeggio marks that span two staves (piano), and the program works normally, but if I make another change to the score, or save, the staves spread apart. See the attached screen shots and MS3 file.
Also, I've always been bugged by the spacing of noteheads which butt each other at the stems (stems going in opposite directions). It's easy to manually adjust regular notes, but not grace notes — see measure 10.

Staff spacer fixed down? (The last symbol of the Breaks&Spacers palette)

Thank you. I was able to get what I wanted by turning off automatic placement on the arpeggio markings, and making manual adjustments as necessary. I don't know why auto placement would cause this.
Regarding the arpeggio, see #275962: Stave distance widens if there is a cross-arpeggio
Not sure what you mean about spacing, it should normally be correct in almost all cases. But it is true that with grace notes it can be too crowded in the presence of ledger lines. Feel free to submit a bug report to the issue tracker on that.
