Notes fading in
This only happens with a few of my scores. As an example, I am making a string orchestra score and all the notes that the violins play seem to fade in. (Start Quiet and then get louder) I don't know why this is happening and it only happens on certain scores. Does anyone know what is happening?

I haven't heard of this, I would need to see the score.
It's normal that violins would do this to some extent, on all scores, that's how they achieve a legato effect but it's not as effective in other situations. The alternative is a faster attack but then it doesn't sound as good in legato passages. So it's possible this is what you are experiencing, or it could be something else (like a crescendo you aren't realizing is affecting the playback). So indeed, we would need you to attach the score in order to understand and assist better.

Here you go! I don't know if it is just on my software on MY PC in general or the actual score. The fade is more noticeable after the pause in the song. Thx for the help!

If you go to View / Mixer, you'll see the sounds are all set to the "slow" versions of the strings. Change these back to the standard ones (eg, "Violin expr.") and the attack will be faster.
