I don't have style/numbers on my menu. I'm on 2.0.2 for Win8.1, 64 bit.
I created a part that started off with 32 bars of rests, then added chords and bars after that.
I entered rehearsal marks (bar numbers) by hand. Problem is, there are measure numbers that start with bar 1 on bar 33 of this part that started automatically. Does line breaks affect this numbering, if done at the top of a part? Can't find any command to move them or remove them.
BTW, see also Edit / Tools / Resequence Rehearsal Marks, which will detect that you are using measure numbers in your rehearsal marks and can automatically update them after changes to the score. Or, set the automatic numbering to off, but set individual measure numbers to display using Measure Properties, and set the text style for Measure Numbers to resemble rehearsal marks.
Just started using muse. Quite a lot easier than Finale. I actually created a rhythm part in a pretty short time. Like pulling teeth in Finale. Your OWN teeth!
Thanks, all.

Yes there is....
You have to select from the menu first "Style" and there then "Numbers".

Settings for Measure numbers are in: Style -> General -> Header, Footer, Numbers.
Measure numbers are at the bottom of the page.

Thanks! Just wasn't feeling the logic there.

"Your" logic is to find it in: Style -> General -> "Measure" maybe, or elsewhere?
