Printing Parts instead of an entire score
I'd like to print only one part of the score. How do I do that?
I go to pull down the file menu and the print parts section is greyed out, and I am unable to select printing only one part of the score.

Actually, it's the export parts option that I am unable to select.

You have to create parts, using the Parts option before you can export or print them. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/parts
I want to print only the alto sax part of the song. Attached is a screen shot of what I'm talking about.

So, do I have to copy the alto sax part to a whole other muse song, then print it from there?

Looks like a MIDI file...
Save as *.mscz:
Export Parts (File/Export);
Then follow the handbook instructions above.

Use the menu File->Parts to create the part. Select that parts tab (it will make sense when you have the part) and use file->Print from that tab and you will print only that part.
Easiest is to just hit the "Generate" button in File / Parts to generate all the parts. Even if you only want to print the alto part, it doesn't hurt to have them al there, and it's easier to generate them all than to generate just one.
