Open the attached file. Any of the text elements in the frame can be selected. Go to the end of a line of text and press the space bar.
Expected result: The previous text should shift one space to the left.
Actual result: The space is added to the line instead of shifting the previous text backwards. Regression from MS2.

I'm sure I understand what you are saying here. If you go to the end of a line and add a space, wouldn't you expect the space to be added there? The bug is only that this single space isn't taken into consideration when it comes to centering or right aligning the text. That could be considered a feature - in fact, it's debatable whether any trailing spaces should factor into alignment. Worth discussion on the forum to see if there is consensus.
Any connection with this issue: #291402: Text edit mode: newline character can't be removed by Delete?
Possible, I'm not really familiar with this aspect of the code.
