Do you mean a MIDi keyboard? Some latency is normal. If that's not what you mean, please attach your score and give precise steps to reproduce the problem. Also say what OS, what version of MuseScore, and what soundfonts you see loaded in View / Synthesizer (Fluid and Zerberus tabs).
