remove lines 1. and 2.
I had a repeat in which I used lines labeled 1. and 2.
I deleted the repeat barlines and
want to know how to remove the two lines.
The line labeled 1. spans many measures.

That is what I was trying. It didn't work.
I double clicked a section (spanning the page) of a line and
that section seemed to be selected (had three marks).
I pressed delete but it did not go away.
I don't know how to select the whole line that
spans the page several times.

I figured it out.
I double clicked, then
right clicked and a little selction table appeared that
had the word delete on it that worked.
