MIDI Keyboard Undetected in 2, 3, and Nightly Build
Hello all,
I have tried to connect a MIDI keyboard to my computer for use with MuseScore, but the program doesn't seem to be able to recognize it. It's a Yamaha Portatone (I think) and it seems to work with other software -- I tried using it with Noteflight on Google Chrome and it works just fine. The keyboard can't seem to be detected, however, in MuseScore, no matter the version. I have tried it on the following versions:
MuseScore 2; v2.3.2, revision 4592407
MuseScore 3; v3.2.3.7635, revision d2d863f
MuseScore 3 nightly; prerelease for v3.3.0, revision 5979345
On each of these versions, I try entering note edit mode and pressing keys on the keyboard, and nothing happens. In addition, navigating to the I/O tab in the Preference menu in all three versions reveals that none of them can even detect the keyboard -- the dropdowns for both MIDI Input and MIDI Output are greyed out in all versions. Following are screenshots from each version:
MS2:
MS3:
MS3 Nightly:
Can someone help me to fix this? I don't believe that this is a bug, because I have seen posts from other users whose keyboards were not detected in MS3, and theirs generally worked in MS2, while mine does not. Therefore, it seems to be just me with this issue.

Have tried this... all three versions were launched after the keyboard was plugged in and switched on.

Did you check the connection? Cable?
*Sigh* I restarted MuseScore 3 and it works fine now. Still doesn't play anything when note entry is inactive, but it enters notes like normal when it is. Already had tried this before and nothing happened. I give up.
