Upon exiting "Palette search", retain previous opened palettes

Notice that if there is an open palette, and then the user uses the function search palette, finds... uses, whatever, then exits (Also, this should be fixed: the search palette would seem appropriate to exit when/if the user presses escape but it does no such thing) by way of backspacing all the characters in the search box, the previously open palette(s) are no longer open. They should have stayed open imho. Any objections?
