PRINT PREVIEW View and Play
One feature I miss in Musescore is a kind of Print Preview visualization, where the hidden rests (greyed out) and spacers are not shown.
THis would be very useful to make tutorials in live streams with the examples.
THis could be something like the music played in the browser in the musescore site. A Player mode.
All the best,
Julio

You can make the hidden items invisible by using the View menu and removing the check from Show invisible. If you want the other items like page breaks and frame borders hidden you can also hide them from here. This will give you a true WYSIWYG view of the score.

Great, but kind of tedious and laborious. Maybe a command to hide it globally could be handy !
Thank you ! Best !

There are shortcuts that can be defined for all of these in Edit->Preferences under the Shortcuts tab.

Still insufficient. In order to get the original view back after previewing, one must memorize the exact subset of view features that one had to disable, and re-enable them one by one. Being able to do this with shortcuts vs. with the mouse is not a significant improvement. It's still O(n), and it should be O(1). Please implement the feature.

I agree that it could be nice to have this someday. But to be clear: you can customize these shortcuts yourself, and there are only five of them. Make them Ctrl+Shift+1 - Ctrl+Shift+5 and it's O(1) after all, you can toggle them in about a second or two. It's actually an enormous improvement over doing it with the mouse, which would easily takes 10 times longer.
