Mac: Check for updates automatically? screen doesn't go away.
I can click past the screen, but it is kind of annoying that the Check for updates automatically? screen isn't going away when I click "Don't check". On the latest version of MacOS: 10.14.6, on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015). Graphics Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB.

That obviously shouldn't happen and has been previously reported at #285931: Mac: Cannot close »Search for updates« dialog and https://musescore.org/en/node/288487 The second report also includes a comment with recommendations.

Resetting to factory defaults did the trick. Sorry for the duplicated post! I did try to search for this issue, but I guess I didn't look for the right thing.

No problem. I had a hard time finding the existing issue (which I knew of). ;-)
