No - Help Online Handbook works, Help version check fails

That's no proof that it isn't the firewall.
But why are you using a 32bit version of MuseScore for a 64bit Windows? That might also cause that failure maybe?
But even without that updatecheck work I can tell you that the latest version is 3.2.3, not your 3.2.2.
I'd recommend you uninstall this 32bit 3.2.2 and install the 64bit 3.2.3
I've got musescore 3.6 (mac version / 64bit / Mac Os Big Sur). The help/check for update is not working (my version - 3.6, current avaliable version - 3.6.1)

Well, Help/Check for update also works in MuseScore 2.0
As said above, try uninstalling your 32bit 3.2.2 and install the 64bit 3.2.3
3.2.3 fixed it, and I didn't have to uninstall the old version
But still have the 32 bit one now?

The updater hasn't been updated, we usually give it a day or two to be sure all is well.
If you have trouble in the future, polease ask for help in the forum rather than reopening old issues.
