How do I add pages? I trie to add measures but it just makes a long rest, and I cant even put any new notes after that

There's really no such thing as "new blank pages". It takes however many pages it needs to express the measures, staves, and frames you create. If you put a "page break" in a measure (see the "Breaks and Spacers" palette) among many, that will force the measure after it to be on a new page. That's the closest there is, and it works fine for almost any purpose. There are no blank pages at the end of a MuseScore score/document.

When you add measures make sure multimeasure rests are turned off. Press M to toggle on/off.
