You have the repeat count set to 1 and then an open volta 2 so MuseScore skips everything to the next repeat. Right click the measure with the repeat barline, choose measure properties and set repeat count to 2 and it will work.

There was a problem with the musicxml you imported, probably a defective export from the other program, but we'd need to see the musicxml file to know for sure.
