Glissando incorrect across page boundary

I have an orchestral score in which string parts often have a glissando across a barline. On one or two occasions, this barline is a page boundary. The automatic positioning means that the part is not at the same position on the second page as it was on the first.
The glissando mark starts at the last note on the first page, and is drawn to the level of the first note on the second page. It ought to be drawn to the level where that note would be on the same system. Because the staff is at a different position on the page, the glissando line goes to completely the wrong place, even crossing other staves.
In the example below, the cello and bass parts cross from page 1 to page 2. They are the bottom two staves on both pages.
