Error message when saving

I'm getting an error message while saving the file, saying the file is corrupted. This happened to multiple files. When asked to save it to the last uncorrupted file, it gives me the following message:

Voice too long: Full score, measure 7, staff 19, voice 2. Found: 5/4. Expected: 4/4.

Is there a way to fix this?

  1. We need corrupted files to fix
  2. If the project was not imported from pdf or musicxml, but was created from scratch in Musescore, this is a direct indication of a bug in Musescore's behavior. Do you have any suggestions as to what steps caused the files to become corrupted?
