how to set a clef for an entire instrument?
so when i import midi, it keeps changing from bass clef to treble clef, and i just want it to be treble, even when there are somewhat low notes.

Right click-Select all similar->Del. See: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/clefs
In the MIDI import panel, you can disable clef changes.
