Creating a time signature while in a text frame

Hi there,

I am wondering how to create a 4/4 time signature, while I am writing inside a text frame. I have found the special character box, and the time signature section, but when I click on the numbers, they just go next to each other like normal text. Is there a way to make them sit on top of one another, and look like a time signature, in the text frame?
