Strange Chord Names

• Jan 29, 2020 - 02:28

I am looking at a score in a publication and
I see Chord names H7, Co, Fo, ct/5+, as strange to me.
Are they legitimate?

As to H7: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B_(musical_note)

The Co and the Fo probably refer to diminished chords. I would interpret ct/5+ to mean C major 7 ( the t perhaps meaning triangle which is used in some jazz circles.). The diagonal line of means the bass of the chord. The plus sign usually means augmented but I have never seen it after the chord name in that way. Perhaps someone else has better info as I am just speculating.
