.mus extentation
Dear Sir,
I opened and saved file in NotePad (Finale) which is now xml file.
Please inform how to open and save this file in MuseScore.

MuseScore ncan't open .mus files, they are propriatary and closed source.
But you should be able to export to MusicXML (.musicxml or .xml extenstion) and open those in MuseScore
To open a MusicXML file, simply go to File / Open and select it.
