cymbal cause eight notes and placement
Hi-hat, probably closed. But we don't have much info on the x head notes
I am talking about the black note right over the staff and I am also wondering what the x note in the top space of the staff is indicating.

black note over the staff I'm sure cymbal or charley( hit hat) because the rythm, under the cross, surely a snare perhaps not a "complete" snare on beat 2 and 4
It all depends on the drumset definition used by the author of the score.
Unfortunately there aren't really clear standards for this, so unless the arrangement came with an "answer key" for the drums, you have to just guess. Mine is that the eighth notes are representing a ride cymbal, the top space X is indicating close pedal hi hat. Not based on any really comparison to other standards, just sort of guessing what this groove is supposed to sound like.
