2 Suggestions
I think I have said the first one before... but this time it's awfully specified ~~and not sure if accepted~~. The other one must have been suggested before...
1. Concert Cimbalom ( Like Dulcimer but has greater range )
2. Add accidentals to trills that will take effect when playback-ing.

More details needed, esp. for 1.

Sorry I always forget that... Actually I was wrong, I wanted to suggest the Concert Cimbalom which is a cimbalom but has a shape like a mini piano... its range, wiki says , is AA to a''' . Here's a link if you want more... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cimbalom#The_concert_cimbalom
You can add accidentals to trills, just click the trill then click the accidental on the palette. but to get the playback to work you have to trick MuseScore by placing that note somewhere else, invisible in another voice for example.

Yes I know, I saw it being discussed elsewhere actually... I just believe it should get more automatic... Like selecting the trill and saying to it what the trill should play at playback, and also making it appear the proper accidental.
for 2. see #14442: Trills and other ornaments with sharp or flat signs
for 1. add it to the issue tracker as a Suggestion, including long and short name, amateur and professional range, (closest GM) sound, number of staves, clefs, transpostioning, genre etc.
MusicXML Id would probably be "pitched-percussion.cimbalom", and sound like (hammered) dulcimer? Also same staves (2) and clefs (G and F) and no transposing?

Ye, got it although I would like to suggest the 2nd one too...

the 2nd has been suggested already (and quite a long time ago), no need to create a duplicate
