Bug in Real-time note entry
The real time note entry does not work with some files. I have attached two scores that I started working on , one of which gives a continues pattern of cords when real-time entry is tried ("file where real time entry does not work" ) and the other seems to work ok ("test score") except the "advance key" does not advance.

It seems unlikely to me that this is really about a difference in the files, more likely something else changed on your system or keyboard. But in order to investigate, we'd need precise step by step instructions to reproduce the problem, including any customization you might have made to your advance key command, also what OS, etc.
