Arranging music for SATB choir
I'm a relative newcomer to Musescore. I've been enjoying arranging music for SATB choir using Musescore and am getting the hang of it bit by bit. One thing I can't do, however (when writing in 4/4 time) is erase the semibreve rest in the bass clef when I write in the bass line. It disappears in the Soprano, alto and tenor lines, but not in the bass. Any suggestions please.
Ray.

Many thanks, I've got the idea now.
Specifically, I will bet you are making the mistake of writing T & B as voices 3 & 4 instead of 1 & 2. You get four voices per staff, ad each starts with 1.

And it even says that on that page.

Thanks Marc. Yes, I was treating T & B as 3 & 4. I've got the idea now.
