Project
1) Make a score with lots of slur markings.
2) Go into Format>Style>Score and have the score hide all empty staves.
3) Make edits through part scores to add more instruments.
4) Notice that the full score now appears to have slur markings move to incorrect locations.
Workarounds:
1. Fix everything afterward
2. Write on the score sheet WITHOUT hiding staves
3. Notate slurs afterward
4. Use repeat measure signs in repeated measures to reduce the amount of slurs used.
Included files are a screenshot of the bug in effect and the .mscz file for the piece that these errors seem to occur on (in case this is just a problem with this score)

I'm making this update because it appears that more is affected on the main score than just the slur placement. As a matter of fact, some slurs seem to spontaneously create themselves. Same goes with hairpins.
Can you give more precise steps to reproduce the problem? Here is what I have tried:
1) load score
2) edit / instruments, add a baritone saxophone to the bottom of the list.
I then looked through the score to see if I could find any obviously bad slurs but couldn't. I then tried moving the baritone saxophone up to a point between the vocal and instrumental staves and again hunted for bad slurs and didnt' see any.
So, we'd need to know what instrument you are adding and where in the list you are adding it, and also which specific slurs (which measures, which staves) develop problems.
Also say what OS and what version of MuseScore.
