Scanning for issues

I think a feature that allows you to scan your entire score for any possible issues, like time signature issues for example, which you can go in and fix before you save and come back and something is corrupted. I've lost so many scores for who knows what reasons and you can;t open them again, or it'll open and you can place a note without the whole thing crashing. So what if there was a feature that quickly scans the file and score for anything that may seem like an issue, and go through and adjust and fix them before hand.
