End hook of pedal line does not stop sustain.
Have a listen to the attached score. The quarter note should sustain for two beats and then stop when the pedal is lifted on the third beat. Instead, it sustains all the way to the end of the score.

I'm using Musescore 3.5 on Windows 10, and the problem occurs on both the Microsoft wavetable synth and on the MIDI output to a software synth.
Monitoring MIDI output in MIDI-OX, I see what might be causing the problem. The screen capture file "Test sustain 1.PNG" shows the MIDI output from Anvil Studio when I play "Pedal test.MID. The sustain pedal off command is immediately followed by a MIDI Stop command. That produces the desired result in the software synthesizer, stopping the sustain of the note. The screen capture file "Test sustain 2.PNG" shows the MIDI output from Musescore when I play "Pedal test.mscz. The sustain pedal off command is there, but it is not followed by a MIDI Stop command. I am not saying that is a fault with Musescore, but it suggests a way I can work around the problem, by configuring MIDI-OX to translate sustain pedal off commands to stop commands.
