Change soundfont loading order in Synthesizer
When you load a new soundfont into the Synthesizer, it goes to the top of the list by default. However, when working with multiple soundfonts in a single score, the first one I load (or the default one) is usually the one I want on the top the list in the end. And changing the order of soundfonts, especially big ones, takes forever, so it would save me a lot of time if this were changed.
Hopefully this was the right place to post this, I didn't know where else to.

Agreed. And trying to find a particular instrument in the list can be.....difficult. Pressing the first letter of the name gets complicated because there is no standard naming procedure (not the fault of MuseScore). If I don't quite remember the name of the horn that I like is it "f" for french horn, or "h" for horn, or "s" for solo horn, or "e" for ENS horns? Being able to have multiple sound fonts loaded is great, but the way they are handled is not...yet.
On a score by score basis you may want different soundfonts loaded in different orders. This is accomplished by reordering the soundfonts then using the save to score button at the bottom of the synthesizer dialog. When you want to use that score, open the synthesizer and click the load from score button. There is the limitation that you can only have one synthesizer setting loaded at a time so if you change scores you'll have to load the new scores settings if they are different.
In my experience this tends to be a bit faster than reordering the sound fonts loaded in the synthesizer, especially if you need to do more than one move.

Ohhh, that's how that works, thanks for explaining! I had a bit of ptsd from my first time messing with those settings when I corrupted a file and some soundfonts stopped working. Makes more sense. However, my original suggestion still stands.
