How to play the Chords less loud
Hi Every One,
Chords is a true asset to anyone who likes to have an immediate harmonic feedback. I know the way to mute the Chords but I am wondering if they could be played softer or, in other words, if there a way to adjust their dynamics. More over, could I adjust separately the notes/staff dynamics and adjust the Chords differently?
Thanks in advance,
Alain

You can adjust their volume in the mixer. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/playback-chord-symbols-nashville-numb…

You can also adjust the dynamics from the palette using traditional notation like p for piano or soft and mp for mezzo-piano for a little louder.

Using dynamics will affect both the notes entered and chords entered. If the chords are too loud they will remain too loud until turn them down in the mixer.

Hi, i have many charts in V3 and want to reduce (not turn off) chord volume. Instructions below indicate there will be a "chord" channel in the mixer. I can't see it. Can you help please?

When an instrument on a score contains more than one channel (e.g., for chord playback), a parent control strip is shown in the Mixer, it has an arrow button on the top left corner. Click the arrow to show or hide all channels.
