Playback of C^ is the same as C (not Cmaj7)
Hi, when I write C^ the playback sound is just C, instead of Cmaj7, as it should be.
Don't know if this is an already known bug.
OS: Arch Linux, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.5.0, revision: 43c5553
By the way, Cm^ also plays something that's not Cmmaj7...
Let me know if I can inform anything else. Thanks a lot.

Use C^7
C^9 playbacks Cmaj9

To be clear: it's not a bug, just a difference in interpretation. Some people in some countries use the triangle all by itself to mean major seventh, other people in other countries use it to mean major and add the 7 explicitly. The latter usage is more common in my (US-based) experience, but people who live in other countries often have different experiences on specifics like this. I guess someday we could add a style setting for this. For now, though, it will work if you add the 7 explicitly, and that will also be useful if you want the music to be well-understood in other countries.
Thanks a lot for all the answer, extremely useful, instructive, and fast (!).
Should I mark this [SOLVED] or something similar?
Best regards!
