Printing from a Mac

What version of MuseScore, what version of MacOS, and what specifically goes wrong?

My Mac is OSX v.10.7.5, I'm using MuseScore 1.3 revison 5702. I can't print from the MuseScore program on my Mac. I can go to the print screen and everything looks fine, but when I send it to the printer, nothing prints. My Mac will print from other programs, just not MuseScore. MuseScore will print from my PC, however.

Do you see your printer selected in the Print dialog from MuseScore?
How about generating a PDF - which is normally done in MuseScore using File / Save As. What goes wrong when you try that?
My printer is there and I've tried PDF, but it won't print.

Again. what *specifically* goes wrong when you try the File / Save As PDF option? You select a fodler for the output, type a filename, select PDF as the output format, then you go to Finder and opn the file you just saved - what do you see?

I see what I created and it looks fine, so I hit print. The print icon at the bottom of my screen pops up to tell me I've printed something, but nothing happens at the printer - not even a blank page.

Can you print some other .pdf file you have on your computer - not a MuseScore generated .pdf?
A .pdf file is usually opened in a reader, then printed from same.
MuseScore .mszc files are printed from within the MuseScore software itself.

If the PDF looks fine after following the steps I described, then MuseScore's work is through. It is not involved in the printing process at all. So whatever is going wrong is something about your computer / system, not about MuseScore at all.
