Drums won't play when importing from Sibelius
Ive just imported a file from Sibelius 2020, which includes a drum kit part. Why does the drums come out as a piano sound and not a drum kit? Can I change it so it sounds a drum kit?

Maybe #57751: Import of MusicXML file with no drum set info should assume reasonable defaults? There's also #281306: [MusicXML] Import from Sibelus gets drum octave wrong

So can I do anything so it will play the drums?

See if there is a setting somewhere within your version of Sibelius to force it to export the drumset info properly. If not, then maybe create a new drumset staff in MuseScore that is set up properly, and copy.paste the imported staff into it. If you attach the actual MusicXML file, we can probably advise better.
My slightly older version of Sibelius will only export xml as compressed or uncompressed. MuseScore can only open the compressed version. In the MuseScore mixer, select the drumkit and make sure the "Drumset" box is checked. you might have to cycle through some kits to get what you want.

? MuseScore can open .mxl (compressed) and .xml/.musicxml (uncompressed)
MuseScore at a certain point could only export to .mxl and .musicxml (and before only to .mxl and .xml), but nowadays can exptort to .xml too again. Both, .xml and .musixcml, are the very same format, only difference is the file extension

Turns out (as usual) you are right. I've never tried to open an uncompressed xml because on my system they are not immediately associated with MuseScore. I have to search through an 'open with" process. The compressed mxl saves with the MuseScore logo as the default format. Which means that if I have MuseScore open, and I search for an xml, only the compressed files show. I could probably change that, but I probably won't.
But drumset still needs to be checked.
