Note Stems and Slurs - wrong direction after transposing
I noticed that after transposition of the score note stems and slurs will keep their direction without regard to their actual position in the staff. Is there a way around it? I had to correct all note stems and slurs manually whose direction haven't been correctly updated after transposing.

That is only the case if those stem directions had been set explicitly before the transposition (for example due to being a MusicXML import).
If you have a score where this is not the case, please attach it here in the "before" state and tell us which transposition to perform and at which notes to look to see the bug.

In the case of the musicxml import having explicit stem direction definitions, you can press ctrl+a then ctrl+r to reset all stems and slurs and a few other things to MuseScore defaults.

This is in fact what happened. A xml score which was previously exported from Sibelius 8 was sent to me by email and I opened it in MuseScore. Because the melody was in a very high range I transposed it down an octave. Thanks for clearing that up.
