Percussion L.V.

I compose and arrange mostly symphonic band music and within percussion it would be nice to have the slur looking articulation for L.V. playing. The way I achieve that right now is to make a slur and then make it small (by using Ctrl and arrow keys, sometimes just arrow keys to make the box parallel). This is ok, but it gets old real fast. I actually don't any new sound with it, just an articulation that doesn't do anything. There is one, but it puts it on top rather than looking like a slur that isn't attached to anything.
