Can't change tempo
Tempo elements attached to notes make no change at all.
If I even try to change tempo using play panel, it just won't change (I try to move slider but it keeps going back to 120 BPM (100%). If I try to type something instead of 100%, MuseScore crashes.
I am playing my Musescore through a Midi external hardware synth (Korg Minilogue)
thanks!

Thanks Shoichi. I've already followed those directions. I added tempo markings and edited its texts. Then I went to Edit Element (Inspector), unticked "follow text", and typed in another value. Nothing makes any change. Everything keeps always going at 120 BPM.

I am using MIDI with JACK and CADENCE
when Musescore crashes (after trying to force tempo change on play panel), this is the message:

Sounds like you are on the way to help me solve it... Do you know how I should check that? In cadence configuration? maybe sequencer Midi driver vs raw MIDI driver?

turns out restarting computer and resetting al Audio and Midi configurations fixed it... No idea exactly what was the problem... hope it doesn't appear again, it probably has to do with what jeetee noted.
thanks a lot

Ok, today problem arose again. there is an option in Musescore Preferences > I/O > JACK Audio Server > Timebase master.
If I tick it on, and then I change tempo, tempo changes. But it seems to change relative to past tempo, so weird things happen.
