Double to octaves command
It would be easier to select a line and have it doubled to its octaves (higher or lower) just by choosing an option, instead of having to write the same notes one octave higher or lower manually. We can easily transpose notes to their octaves, but we can't leave them where they are and overwrite their octaves automatically. This feature would be appreciated by pianists, string players, and whoever writes for instruments that can play octaves.

Do you mean you want a C4 (middle C) and add a C3 to it an octave higher for example? If so, you can already do that to several notes at once by selecting all of the notes and pressing alt+8 to add an octave. You can use any number from 1 to 9 and add that interval to selected notes or chords. You can also define shortcuts for adding the intervals below. I use alt+shift+# (shift is opposite of no shift to me). You may add intervals below from 2 to 9 (1 above and below is the same thing).

Woah I totally missed the thing. I thank you very much for your reply, and I'm gonna try it as soon as possible. Also, since I've never used the forum previously, am I supposed to delete the discussion or click somewhere to mark it as resolved or something?
