Hotkeys for switching visual arrangements

So I already understand you can use the function buttons to toggle the visibility of certain windows (e.g. f9 for palletes), but due to my very limited screen space I could use more control.

I have a few different layouts that I use:

  • Palettes, Play Panel, and Inspector windowed together so they occupy the same space, for general writing.
  • Just palettes on the side for more rapid writing:
  • Nothing but score for analysing / big picture stuff.

What would be really handy is if you could assign a key combo to each of these, 1, 2 , 3. You could switch between modes instantly. What would make this feature even more powerful is if it could also control:

  • Layout of other objects, e.g. the set of note heads
  • Whether it's page view, continuous view, or single page?
  • Maybe even dark/light mode.

Thanks for your consideration: I'll be clarifying what I mean and my intentions to any comments you might have.

Yep, thanks for the tip, I use that already. It does save space, but it's just annoying the time it takes to move all the various window preferences around. I feel like this feature could save a lot of time by making any combination of fiddly adjustments a one-click procedure. (and on the scale of features it doesn't seem very difficult to implement)
