how to enter lyrics with chord symbols?
this is my 1st posting, therefore if it is not in the correct forum / topic, please move it.
I want to create a song page, where the 1st verse is entered with notes and chord symbols, but from 2nd verse onward I want each verse in a separated paragraph with appropriate chord symbols. when I enter these verse as simple text with chord symbols in the line above, the chord symbols are depending on the character formatting (and are not in sync with the syllables). when I enter as music with fake notes (hiding anything besides lyrics / chord notes) the spacing between the lines is to large.
is there an easy way to do this?
example, how it should look like is attached.
many thx, hinnerk

I'm afraid the only way is to insert chord symbols as the first line, go to the end and insert the lyrics. Then adjust the spacing of the first line. If there is a better way or the right way I don't know.
Consider just adding it as text.
Or work with some trickery using invisible stafflines on a second instrument with invisible notes fixed to line and adjusted vertical spacing and horizontal frames. Something like in the attachment:

many thx!
it seems, that this is exactly the solution I thought of. I just need to learn "some trickery", but since I just started using musescore, this is a perfect start for a "this years project".
If I need further help, I will come back to this thread. for the moment, I am fine and the thread can be closed (unless there are further / different solutions).

Consider a different approach if you don't need a MuseSore file in the end
Create your first verse as you want it.
Export as a PDF.
Open PDF.
Screen shot it.
Open in photo program like Paint (PC) to crop as needed. Save as png. or jpg.
Insert into a word processor. Size as needed.
Add the other verses and chords.
Never mind if you need to upload to the .com site.
