Linking Repeated Sections
Hi there, I have an AABA 32 bar jazz standard. What I'd like to do in order to reduce the amount of time I have to spend writing it is out is to create the A and the B part once, have it autogenerate the structure, then after that have the ability to modify those sections independently.
Is this possible?

Use repeats and a DC al Fine?

And possibly use unroll repeats afterwards for the "modify independently" part of the question.
Or just use copy and paste.

This solution is not ideal for choral pieces, as the paste includes the section A lyrics - deleting these takes time. If it were possible to copy just the notes so that only the different lyrics needed to be added, that would be nice.

You can use the selection filter to exclude lyrics when copying.
And removing them should be as simple as clicking the first lyric, then hold down shift and click the last lyric to select them (or right-click one and use the select options there). Then press the Delete key on your keyboard.

Thanks for your help. I get the deletion process, but where do I find the "selection filter"?
