Sending music with plugins

If I write a score using a plugin (24 TET) and send the .mscz file to someone will they need to download the plugin too? Sorry if someone has asked but I couldn't find a discussion

No.

When you run the plugin, it applies the tuning offset to the score element directly, so it is saved within the score. The plugin merely saves you the effort of having to go over each note yourself and change the corresponding value of the "tuning" property for that note using the inspector.

Plugins can't really make changes in scores that you can't do manually. As a result, all of the results of those changes are indeed stored within the score itself, without others need the plugin themselves.
