MUSESCORE SOUNDFONT PROBLEM - PLEASE HELP!
I have a specific soundfont that I use to write my drumline. It's called "MikeScorschDrumLine.sf2" I just came across this problem and I don't know if it's a bug or a soundfont issue. When I go to export a videoscore from the Musescore website so I can edit and post the video onto YouTube, I notice that my snare drum is playing a completely different sound than when I listen to the score on the website. I have my mixer on the creator software set to have my drumline like this:
Snare - 56marchingsnare
Tenor - Marching Tenor (default)
Basses - Marching Bass (default)
On the creator software and website, it sounds exactly like I want it to. It's playing the added soundfont sound. But, when I download a videoscore version from the website(clicking share to YouTube and clicking download video), it'll make the snare(which is the only instrument with a non-default sound) play "ACOUSTIC GRAND PIANO" rather than the proper sound that i added. I know that's the only thing changed because the rest of the videoscore sounds the same for Tenor and Bass. It's only the changed snare drum that's playing a different sound. I even looked at the mixer for the score on the website and it says that it's playing the acoustic grand piano. But, when you listen to the score, it sounds like the new soundfont, "56marchingsnare." I added a couple of images below so you can have a visual representation of what I'm seeing. The other problem is that on the smartphone Muscore app, the sounds are completely messed up within the auxillary and drumline. It's playing exactly what the mixer says it's playing, but on the website, it's not.
I hope this makes sense! If you can't help me, that's okay! Please request anyone that can help me, please!

I don't know much about this, but I do recall that this soundfont was designed to work with a very old version of MsueScore and I'm not aware that it was ever update d to work with any version of msueScore from the last several years. Instead, the MDL extension was developed and should completely replace it, but the two are not compatible.

Thank you so much! I'll make sure to get an upgraded soundfont. Do you have any drumline recommendations?

As I said, the MDL extension was specifically developed for this purpose.
